<p>SI-Droid Event is an Android app that makes it possible to arrange simple orienteering events with SportIdent without
having to bring along more than a mobile phone/tablet and a SI Readout Station to the event site. No need for a computer anymore.</p>

<p>IMPORTANT: When a USB Station or a serial-to-USB converter is connected to the phone, the dialog <b>Choose an app for the USB device</b> will automatically be shown. <p><b><font color=red>For the readout to work properly, it's very important that the SI-Droid Event app is actively selected in this dialog and that the
notification becomes visible in the notification area!</font></b> <p>If this has not been done, you will not be able to read out any cards.

<p>There is a notification icon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> that belongs to the app which shows up in the notification area. When this notification icon is visible,
it will mean that the app have contact with either an SI Station or a serial-to-USB converter and can receive card readouts.
When the notification icon is blinking it indicates that the app is active talking to the station and reads out a card.

<p><b><font color=red>För att avläsningen ska fungera så är det väldigt viktigt att SI-Droid appen aktivt väljs i denna dialog och att notifieringsikonen blir synlig!
Görs inte detta så kan inga brickor läsas in.</font></b></p>

<p>Till appen hör en notifieringsikon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> som visas längst upp i statusraden. När denna notifiering är synlig så betyder det att appen har kontakt med mastern eller med en serie-till-USB-omvandlare och kan ta emot utstämplingar. När notifieringsikonen blinkar så betyder det att appen håller på att kommunicera med SI-mastern.

<p>Appens fönster behöver inte vara framme för att det ska gå att läsa av brickor. Det viktiga är att notifieringen är synlig. Det innebär också att avläsning är möjligt även om skärmen är helt släckt och låst eller om t.ex ett samtal skulle vara pågående.

<p>Stäng ner hela appen (inklusive avläsningen) genom att öppna appen och välj <b>Avsluta</b> i menyn.

<b><font color=red>NOTE: The free (Lite) version of the app only allows readout if there are fewer than 10 SICards already in the app!</font></b>

<p>When a SICard is read out it will be shown at the top of the readout list, with an orange background.
By clicking on one card, you will get a view of all available card data from the readout. Depending on the setting done in
<b>Lookup of Card owner</b> you can get the app to automatically retrieve the runners name and club from any of these places:
<ol>
<li>From an already read out card in the event with the same number</li>
<li>A user-defined file on the device's local storage. The file is recommended to be saved in UTF-8 format if any kind of special characters are needed.
Each row in the file should look like:<br/>
<code>SICard nbr, Runner name, Club name, External id, Course name</code></li>
Only the first two parts (card nbr and runner name) is mandatory, the rest is optional. Rows not matching this pattern will be ignored.<br/>
Note: It is also allowed to use semicolon (;) as a separator, instead of the comma which makes it simple to use e.g. Excel for creating the list and saving it as a CSV-file.<br/>
If a course name is added as the fifth part on a row, the runner will be assigned to that course regardless if the punches in the card matches that course or not.
If a course with that name doesn't yet exist, it will be created as a new course without any controls.
<li>From an SICard archive on the Internet (mostly Swedish runners; Mobile or Wifi coverage must be available)</li>
<li>Directly from the owner data stored on the SICard (SICard6 or later)</li>
</ol>
Runners name, club, status and punches can also manually be edited by either long pressing on a card in the list and selecting <b>Change Runner Details</b>
or by first clicking on the card and then selecting the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. In the Edit Runner dialog it is possible to expand it to also show the
runners punches by pressing the down arrow <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in the bottom right corner. There it is possible to change start time,
finish time and all the punches for the runner. The plus icon <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> and trash icon <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/>
on the right on every row, adds and removes the punch at that control.

<p>If there is a matching course found for the read out card, the runner is automatically assigned to that course and code checking will
be performed. If the wrong course gets assigned to the runner, you can manually reassign the runner to the correct course either by
long pressing on the card in the list and select <b>Change Runners Course</b> or by clicking on the card and then select the left course icon
<img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (the one with an update icon on the bottom right).

<p>If no matching course can be found for a card, the runner will be assigned to the course 'No course'. This will also mean that the runner
is directly set to OK as long as there is a finish punch/time in the card. There will not be any code checking at all performed for the runners
assigned to this course.

<p>It is also possible to define a new course based on all the codes registered in a card. This is very handy to use when the first runner on
each course comes to the finish. This is done either by long pressing a card in the list and selecting <b>Create Course from Card</b>
or by clicking on the card and then choose the right course icon <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (the one with a plus sign on the bottom right).
In the dialog you can name the course and make any other modifications to it before saving it as a new course.

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, it will be possible to print a split time receipt for a runner. In the details view of the
runner there is a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> that will print the split times on the receipt printer. It is also possible to configure
different levels of automatic printing in the Settings. Read more about split time printers in the Settings and on the
<a href=http://www.joja.se/index.php/Bluetooth_Printers>homepage</a> for the app.

<p>Completely remove a card from the app by either long press on a card and then selecting <b>Delete Runner</b>
or by clicking on a card and then select <b>Delete Runner</b> from the menu.

<p>If a runner doesn't have a card with him, it is still possible to add him to the event. By pressing the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/>, a dialog
will appear in which it is possible to type the runners name and club. It is also possible to enter the start and finish times for the runner.

<p>SI-Droid Event supports using and reading out the same SICard multiple times during an event. As long as the data in the card has been changed
in some way, the card will be read out as any other card. If, however a runner accidentally reads her card twice in a row, the second card
will not be accepted since identical data has already been read. When this happens, a brief explanatory text is shown on the screen.
<b><font color=red>OBS: Gratis-versionen (Lite) av appen tillåter bara utstämpling om det är färre än 10 brickor som redan är inlästa!</font></b>

<p>När en bricka har blivit avläst så hamnar den längst upp i listan med brickor. Genom att klicka på en bricka så får man upp en vy med all tillgänglig data
för brickavläsningen. Beroende på inställning som har gjorts under <b>Hämta ägaren till brickan</b> så kan namn och klubb för löparen automatiskt hämtas från
någon/flera av dessa ställen:
<ol>
<li>Från en redan utläst bricka med samma nummer</li>
<li>En egendefinierad fil på telefonens minne. Filen måste sparas i UTF8-format om svenska tecken ska användas. Varje rad i filen ska ha följande format:<br/>
<code>Bricknr, Löparnamn, Klubbnamn, EventorId, Bannamn</code></li>
Bara de två första fälten (bricknr och löparnamn) är obligatoriska, resterande är alla valfria att ange.
Rader som inte matchar formatet ignoreras.<br/>
Observera att det även är möjligt att använda semikolon (;) som separator istället för komma. Det gör det enkelt att skapa en lista med brickdata, t.ex. i Excel som sedan bara behöver sparas som en CSV-fil för att vara användbar.<br/>

<p>Namn, klubb, status och stämplingar kan även manuellt redigeras för en bricka genom att antingen långtrycka på en bricka i listan och välja <b>Ändra löpardetaljer</b> eller först
klicka på brickan och sedan välja penn-ikonen <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. Dialogen Ändra löparen kan expanderas så att den även visar löparens alla stämplingar
genom att trycka på nedåtpilen <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> längst ner till höger. Där är det möjligt att ändra starttid, måltid och alla stämplingar i brickan.
Plusikonen <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> och papperskorgen <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/> till höger på varje rad lägger till och tar bort stämplingen
vid en viss kontroll.

<p>Vid en avläsning så matchas brickans stämplingar mot alla lagrade banor och den bästa väljs.
Om ingen matchande bana finns definierad så knyts brickan automatiskt till banan <b>Ingen bana</b>.
För dessa brickor görs ingen stämpelkontroll alls utan alla löpare blir direkt godkända så länge det finns en måltid lagrad i brickan.

<p>Om det finns en matchande bana för en avläst bricka så knyts brickan automatiskt till den banan och stämpelkontroll
kommer att utföras. Om knytningen till en bana blir felaktig så kan man manuellt knyta brickan till rätt bana antingen
genom ett långtryck på brickan i listan och sedan välja <b>Knyt bana till löparen</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan
välja vänstra banikonen <img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (den med en uppdateringssymbol nere till höger).

<p>Det är även möjligt att skapa en helt ny bana utifrån de stämplingar som finns på en bricka vilket kan vara praktiskt för
första löparen i mål på varje bana. Detta görs antingen genom att långtrycka på en bricka i listan och sedan välja <b>Skapa ny bana
från brickan</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan välja högra banikonen <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (den med ett plustecken nere till höger).
I dialogen som visas kan du namnge banan och göra eventuella justeringar innan du sparar den som en ny bana.

<p>Om en Bluetooth-skrivare finns konfigurerad i Inställningarna så är det möjligt att skriva ut ett sträcktidskvitto för en löpare. I löparens detaljvy finns en kvittoikon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> som gör att en utskrift skickas till skrivaren. Det går även att konfigurera olika nivåer av automatisk kvittoutskrift under Inställningarna.

<p>Ta bort en avläst bricka från appen genom att antingen långtrycka på en bricka och sedan välja <b>Ta bort löparen</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan välja <b>Ta bort löparen</b> i menyn.

<p>Om en löpare är med på en träning men saknar en bricka så går det att manuellt lägga till en löpare utan att läsa av en bricka. Tryck på plus-ikonen
<img src='ic_action_new.png'/> så kommer dialogen <b>Lägg till löpare utan bricka</b> upp. Där är det möjligt att skriva in namn och klubb och även ange start- o måltid för löparen.

<p>Det går alldeles utmärkt att använda och läsa av samma bricka flera gånger vid en träning/tävling. Så länge det inte är exakt
samma data som avläses från brickan så läggs brickan till som vilken annan bricka som helst. Om en löpare däremot av misstag råkar läsa av sin bricka
två gånger på raken så kommer inte andra utstämplingen att accepteras eftersom identisk data redan blivit läst. När det händer visas kort en förklarande text på skärmen.

Under the tab <b>Courses</b> all defined courses are listed.

<p>SI-Droid Event can handle three different types of courses:
<ul>
<li>Normal OL-courses where all controls must be visited in the exact order as they are entered in the course.</li>
<li>Score courses with a time limit and an optional penalty when the runner is late. This course type is also known as Rogaining.</li>
<li>Score courses with a point limit. The runner must collect a certain number of points/controls to be OK. This type can be used for free order courses.</li>
</ul>

<p>By clicking on a particular course, you get a view of all available data for it.
The data for the course can be changed either by a long press in the list + <b>Change Course</b> or a click in the list + selecting
the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. The following things can be changed for a course:
<ul>
<li>The name of the course</li>
<li>The type of the course</li>
<li>For a Score course, it's possible to change the time/point limit and the penalty.</li>
<li>The controls for the course. Separate the controls with a space when entering them.<br>
For Score courses every control optionally have an assigned point value. The control code and the point value should be separated by either a ':' or a '-', e.g. 120-3.
Score courses can also have mandatory controls anywhere on the course. Use a point value of zero (0) for those. A control without a point value is counted as one point.</li>
<li>The length of the course (in meters). This is used in the results and for calculating the average speed of the runner.</li>
<li>The climb of the course (in meters). If the value is set it will be used in the results</li>
<li>If the course should have its own start time and the actual start time in that case. The start time will only be applied to runners that doesn't have a
start punch/time registered in the card.</li>
</ul>
It is also possible to manually create a new course by clicking on the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> and delete a course by selecting <b>Remove course</b>
or clicking the trash icon <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>If you want to change the ordering of the courses, it can be done by long pressing on the course you want to move and then choose either <b>Move Up</b> or
<b>Move Down</b> in the menu. This will affect the course ordering for all types of results and reports.

<p>If you already have courses defined in e.g OCAD, it is possible to import them via the menu option <b>Import Courses</b>.
The courses must first be exported from the course setting software as an IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 course file and copied to the SD card. When reimporting courses,
courses that have the exact same name will be updated instead of creating a new course.

<p>As soon as a change is made for a course, all the assigned runners' results will automatically be recalculated.
Under fliken <b>Banor</b> finns alla definierade banor listade.

<p>SI-Droid Event har stöd för tre olika typer av banor:
<ul>
<li>Den vanliga bantypen där alla angivna kontroller måste besökas i inmatad ordning.</li>
<li>Poäng-OL med en tidsgräns och optionellt ett poängstraff för sen målgång. Löparnas placering bestäms i första hand av deras totala poäng inkl. straffpoäng
och i andra hand av måltiden. Denna typ av bana kallas ofta också för Rogaining.</li>
<li>Poäng-OL med en poänggräns, dvs löparen måste samla ihop en viss poängsumma för att bli godkänd. I övrigt bestämmer måltiden löparnas placering.</li> </ul>

<p>Genom att klicka på en viss bana så får man upp en vy med all tillgänglig data för banan. Genom att antingen långtrycka på en bana i listan och välja <b>Ändra banan</b> eller att klicka på banan och sedan välja penn-ikonen <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> så kan följande saker ändras för banan:
<ul>
<li>Banans namn.</li>
<li>Typ av bana.</li>
<li>För en poängbana; tid/poänggräns och eventuellt poängstraff.</li>
<li>Kontrollerna för banan. Separera kontrollerna med ett mellanslag.<br>
För att ange hur många poäng en kontroll är värd på en poängbana så skrivs varje kontroll som [Kod]-[Poäng], t.ex. 120-3. Både '-' och ':' är giltigt som separator.
Poängbanor kan även ha obligatoriska kontroller var som helst på banan. Sätt poängen till noll (0) för att ange en sådan kontroll. Kontroller utan angiven poäng
räknas som en poäng.</li>
<li>Banans längd i meter. Används i resultatet och för att räkna fram km-tiden för en löpare.</li> <li>Banans stigning i meter. Om satt till annat än 0 så visas det i
rapporterna</li>
<li>Om banan ska ha en egen gemensam tidsstart och vad starttiden i så fall är. Denna starttid kommer bara att används för brickor som saknar
startstämpling.</li>
</ul>
Det är också möjligt att manuellt skapa en ny bana genom att klicka på plus-ikonen <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> och att ta bort en bana genom att välja
<b>Ta bort banan</b> eller klicka på papperskorgsikonen <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>Det går att ändra ordningen på banorna (gäller även i resultatet) genom att långtrycka på en viss bana och sedan välja <b>Flytta upp</b> eller <b>Flytta ner</b> i menyn.

<p>Om du redan har banorna definierade i t.ex OCAD så är det även möjligt att importera dessa via menyvalet <b>Importera banor</b>.
Banorna måste då först exporteras från banläggarprogrammet som en IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 banfil och kopieras till SD-kortet. Om det redan finns en bana med samma
namn vid importen så kommer den befintliga banan att uppdateras, annars skapas en ny bana.

<p>Så fort en ändring görs på en bana så kommer alla berörda löpares resultat att automatiskt räknas om.

Under the <b>Results</b> tab, all read out cards/runners are listed for each course in their result order. Here it is also possible to click
on a runner and get all the card details. It is also possible to click on the course row (in orange) to hide/show all the results for that course.

<p>By clicking the Share icon <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> it is possible to generate the following result reports: <ul>
<li>A straightforward result without any split times as a simple HTML page.</li>
<li>A complete split times report including all intermediate times and positions.</li>
<li>As an IOF v3.0 XML file (with split times). This file can then be imported to WinSplits or another kind of result system.</li>
<li>A split times report in the old OE2003/MT2003 CSV format. This file can e.g. be used for sharing split times on the site splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>A report with all cards in the event as a SportIdent CSV file</li>
<li>The whole event as a <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> backup for further post-processing.</li>
<li>A combined results report. When the same card has a result on more than one course, all those results are combined into a total result. This report comes
in three different variations as well. If a card has run the same course more than once, You can select if the best, the first or the last run from that course
should be the one counted towards the total result</li> </ul>

<p>All the different types of reports can be shared in the following ways: <ul>
<li>A simple preview in the web browser of the device.</li>
<li>Share the file through one of the other apps installed, e.g. Email, Dropbox or Google Drive</li>
<li>Export the file to a place of your choice.</li> </ul>

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> will be shown. By clicking the icon
it is possible to print a simple result report for the whole event.
Under fliken <b>Resultat</b> så listas alla avlästa brickor/löpare i placeringsordning för respektive bana. Det är möjligt att klicka
på en viss bricka/löpare och få fram alla detaljer från avläsningen. Det är även möjligt att klicka på själva banraden för att
gömma/visa alla resultat för den banan.<br> <p>Genom att klicka på Dela-ikonen <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> så kan följande resultatfiler genereras:
<ul>
<li>Enbart resultat utan några sträcktider som en enkel HTML-sida.</li> <li>En komplett sträcktidsrapport i HTML-format med alla mellantider och placeringar.</li>
<li>Som en IOF v3.0 XML-fil (med sträcktider). Denna fil kan användas för att skicka resultatet till t.ex. WinSplits eller Eventor. <br>OBS: Tänker du ladda upp XML-filen med resultat till Eventor så måste du ha angett EXAKT samma namn på banorna i appen som klasserna heter i Eventor
för att Eventor-importen ska fungera.</li>
<li>Sträcktider i det gamla OE2003/MT2003 CSV-formatet. Kan bl.a. användas för export av sträcktider till splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>Alla brickor i databasen som en SportIdent CSV-fil</li>
<li>Hela databasen som en <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/'>MeOS</a> backup. Användbart om man vill göra någon speciell efterbehandling som inte finns i appen.</li>
<li>En rapport med totalresultat. Om en och samma löpare (bricka) har sprungit flera banor så summeras löparens alla resultat till ett totalresultat. Denna rapport finns dessutom i tre varianter. Om samma bricka har sprungit en bana flera gånger så kan man välja vilket lopp som ska räknas med i totalen; bästa loppet, första loppet eller sista loppet</li>
</ul>

<p>Alla de olika typerna av rapporter kan delas på följande sätt:
<ul>
<li>En enkel förhandsgranskning i enhetens webbläsare.</li>
<li>Skicka filen via någon av enhetens installerade appar, t.ex Email, Dropbox eller Google Drive.</li>
<li>Exportera filen till valfri lagring.</li>
</ul>

<p>Om det finns en Bluetooth-skrivare ansluten så syns även kvittoikonen <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> här. Genom att klicka på den kan man skriva ut en enkel resultatlista för alla banorna.

The app have a single database that only can contain one event. The data in the database/event can though be exported (backed up) and later be imported (restored)
again into the database. If you want to switch to a new event you should first backup the current data and then clear all data in the database. After that you
are ready for a new event and still have a backup of the old event.

<p>All backups are saved on internal or external storage with event name and a timestamp. If you want to remove old backups you currently have to do that from
outside of the app.

<p>In the Manage DB menu it is possible to do the following: <ul>
<li>Show some statistics about the event</li>
<li>Save a backup copy of the entire event to the SD card</li>
<li>Restore an event from a previously saved backup (only in Full version, not in Lite)</li>

<p>SI-Droid Event is an Android app that makes it possible to arrange simple orienteering events with SportIdent without
having to bring along more than a mobile phone/tablet and a SI Readout Station to the event site. No need for a computer anymore.</p>

<p>The basic idea when using the app is that it should need as little preparation as possible before the event.
The only preparation you need to do is to configure the name, date and zero time (especially if SICard5 is used) of the event under
<b>Settings</b> to be ready. The rest is easily handled at the same time as the runners are finishing.</p>

<p>To be able to connect the SI Readout Station to the phone, a USB-OTG adapter is needed. Such an adapter should be available in most phone or electronic shops
for less than €10. When connecting a station via the USB-OTG adapter to your device, take care not to damage the USB port in your device. The USB port could easily
break if you e.g. drop the station while it's connected to the phone.

<p>IMPORTANT: When a USB Station or a serial-to-USB converter is connected to the phone, the dialog <b>Choose an app for the USB device</b> will automatically be shown. <p><b><font color=red>For the readout to work properly, it's very important that the SI-Droid Event app is actively selected in this dialog and that the
notification becomes visible in the notification area!</font></b> <p>If this has not been done, you will not be able to read out any cards.

<p>There is a notification icon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> that belongs to the app which shows up in the notification area. When this notification icon is visible,
it will mean that the app have contact with either an SI Station or a serial-to-USB converter and can receive card readouts.
When the notification icon is blinking it indicates that the app is active talking to the station and reads out a card.

<p>It is not necessary for the main window of the app to be visible for card readouts to be possible. The important thing is that the notification is showing.
This also means that readouts will be possible even if the screen is turned off and locked or if e.g. a phone call is being made.

<p>Shutdown the entire app, including the card readout, by opening the app and choose <b>Exit</b> in the main menu.
<p>SI-Droid Event är en Android app som gör det möjligt att arrangera enkla orienteringsträningar (och små tävlingar) med SportIdent utan att behöva ha med sig mer än en mobiltelefon/surfplatta och en SIMaster-enhet vid målet.</p>

<p>Grundtanken för användandet av appen är att man ska ha så lite behov av förberedelse som möjligt inför ett arrangemang. <p><b><font color=red>För att avläsningen ska fungera så är det väldigt viktigt att SI-Droid appen aktivt väljs i denna dialog och att notifieringsikonen blir synlig!
Görs inte detta så kan inga brickor läsas in.</font></b></p>

<p>Till appen hör en notifieringsikon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> som visas längst upp i statusraden. När denna notifiering är synlig så betyder det att appen har kontakt med mastern eller med en serie-till-USB-omvandlare och kan ta emot utstämplingar. När notifieringsikonen blinkar så betyder det att appen håller på att kommunicera med SI-mastern.

<p>Appens fönster behöver inte vara framme för att det ska gå att läsa av brickor. Det viktiga är att notifieringen är synlig. Det innebär också att avläsning är möjligt även om skärmen är helt släckt och låst eller om t.ex ett samtal skulle vara pågående.

<p>Stäng ner hela appen (inklusive avläsningen) genom att öppna appen och välj <b>Avsluta</b> i menyn.

The app have a single database that only can contain one event. The data in the database/event can though be exported (backed up) and later be imported (restored)
again into the database. If you want to switch to a new event you should first backup the current data and then clear all data in the database. After that you
are ready for a new event and still have a backup of the old event.

<p>All backups are saved on internal or external storage with event name and a timestamp. If you want to remove old backups you currently have to do that from
outside of the app.

<p>In the Manage DB menu it is possible to do the following: <ul>
<li>Show some statistics about the event</li>
<li>Save a backup copy of the entire event to the SD card</li>
<li>Restore an event from a previously saved backup (only in Full version, not in Lite)</li>
<li>Erase all data for the current event, e.g when starting a new event</li>
<li>Restore an example event which can be useful for testing the app without access to a real SI Station</li> </ul>

Under the tab <b>Courses</b> all defined courses are listed.

<p>SI-Droid Event can handle three different types of courses:
<ul>
<li>Normal OL-courses where all controls must be visited in the exact order as they are entered in the course.</li>
<li>Score courses with a time limit and an optional penalty when the runner is late. This course type is also known as Rogaining.</li>
<li>Score courses with a point limit. The runner must collect a certain number of points/controls to be OK. This type can be used for free order courses.</li>
</ul>

<p>By clicking on a particular course, you get a view of all available data for it.
The data for the course can be changed either by a long press in the list + <b>Change Course</b> or a click in the list + selecting
the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. The following things can be changed for a course:
<ul>
<li>The name of the course</li>
<li>The type of the course</li>
<li>For a Score course, it's possible to change the time/point limit and the penalty.</li>
<li>The controls for the course. Separate the controls with a space when entering them.<br>
For Score courses every control optionally have an assigned point value. The control code and the point value should be separated by either a ':' or a '-', e.g. 120-3.
Score courses can also have mandatory controls anywhere on the course. Use a point value of zero (0) for those. A control without a point value is counted as one point.</li>
<li>The length of the course (in meters). This is used in the results and for calculating the average speed of the runner.</li>
<li>The climb of the course (in meters). If the value is set it will be used in the results</li>
<li>If the course should have its own start time and the actual start time in that case. The start time will only be applied to runners that doesn't have a
start punch/time registered in the card.</li>
</ul>
It is also possible to manually create a new course by clicking on the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> and delete a course by selecting <b>Remove course</b>
or clicking the trash icon <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>If you want to change the ordering of the courses, it can be done by long pressing on the course you want to move and then choose either <b>Move Up</b> or
<b>Move Down</b> in the menu. This will affect the course ordering for all types of results and reports.

<p>If you already have courses defined in e.g OCAD, it is possible to import them via the menu option <b>Import Courses</b>.
The courses must first be exported from the course setting software as an IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 course file and copied to the SD card. When reimporting courses,
courses that have the exact same name will be updated instead of creating a new course.

<p>As soon as a change is made for a course, all the assigned runners' results will automatically be recalculated.
Under fliken <b>Banor</b> finns alla definierade banor listade.

<p>SI-Droid Event har stöd för tre olika typer av banor:
<ul>
<li>Den vanliga bantypen där alla angivna kontroller måste besökas i inmatad ordning.</li>
<li>Poäng-OL med en tidsgräns och optionellt ett poängstraff för sen målgång. Löparnas placering bestäms i första hand av deras totala poäng inkl. straffpoäng
och i andra hand av måltiden. Denna typ av bana kallas ofta också för Rogaining.</li>
<li>Poäng-OL med en poänggräns, dvs löparen måste samla ihop en viss poängsumma för att bli godkänd. I övrigt bestämmer måltiden löparnas placering.</li> </ul>

<p>Genom att klicka på en viss bana så får man upp en vy med all tillgänglig data för banan. Genom att antingen långtrycka på en bana i listan och välja <b>Ändra banan</b> eller att klicka på banan och sedan välja penn-ikonen <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> så kan följande saker ändras för banan:
<ul>
<li>Banans namn.</li>
<li>Typ av bana.</li>
<li>För en poängbana; tid/poänggräns och eventuellt poängstraff.</li>
<li>Kontrollerna för banan. Separera kontrollerna med ett mellanslag.<br>
För att ange hur många poäng en kontroll är värd på en poängbana så skrivs varje kontroll som [Kod]-[Poäng], t.ex. 120-3. Både '-' och ':' är giltigt som separator.
Poängbanor kan även ha obligatoriska kontroller var som helst på banan. Sätt poängen till noll (0) för att ange en sådan kontroll. Kontroller utan angiven poäng
räknas som en poäng.</li>
<li>Banans längd i meter. Används i resultatet och för att räkna fram km-tiden för en löpare.</li> <li>Banans stigning i meter. Om satt till annat än 0 så visas det i
rapporterna</li>
<li>Om banan ska ha en egen gemensam tidsstart och vad starttiden i så fall är. Denna starttid kommer bara att används för brickor som saknar
startstämpling.</li>
</ul>
Det är också möjligt att manuellt skapa en ny bana genom att klicka på plus-ikonen <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> och att ta bort en bana genom att välja
<b>Ta bort banan</b> eller klicka på papperskorgsikonen <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>Det går att ändra ordningen på banorna (gäller även i resultatet) genom att långtrycka på en viss bana och sedan välja <b>Flytta upp</b> eller <b>Flytta ner</b> i menyn.

<p>Om du redan har banorna definierade i t.ex OCAD så är det även möjligt att importera dessa via menyvalet <b>Importera banor</b>.
Banorna måste då först exporteras från banläggarprogrammet som en IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 banfil och kopieras till SD-kortet. Om det redan finns en bana med samma
namn vid importen så kommer den befintliga banan att uppdateras, annars skapas en ny bana.

<p>Så fort en ändring görs på en bana så kommer alla berörda löpares resultat att automatiskt räknas om.

<b><font color=red>NOTE: The free (Lite) version of the app only allows readout if there are fewer than 10 SICards already in the app!</font></b>

<p>When a SICard is read out it will be shown at the top of the readout list, with an orange background.
By clicking on one card, you will get a view of all available card data from the readout. Depending on the setting done in
<b>Lookup of Card owner</b> you can get the app to automatically retrieve the runners name and club from any of these places:
<ol>
<li>From an already read out card in the event with the same number</li>
<li>A user-defined file on the device's local storage. The file is recommended to be saved in UTF-8 format if any kind of special characters are needed.
Each row in the file should look like:<br/>
<code>SICard nbr, Runner name, Club name, External id, Course name</code></li>
Only the first two parts (card nbr and runner name) is mandatory, the rest is optional. Rows not matching this pattern will be ignored.<br/>
Note: It is also allowed to use semicolon (;) as a separator, instead of the comma which makes it simple to use e.g. Excel for creating the list and saving it as a CSV-file.<br/>
If a course name is added as the fifth part on a row, the runner will be assigned to that course regardless if the punches in the card matches that course or not.
If a course with that name doesn't yet exist, it will be created as a new course without any controls.
<li>From an SICard archive on the Internet (mostly Swedish runners; Mobile or Wifi coverage must be available)</li>
<li>Directly from the owner data stored on the SICard (SICard6 or later)</li>
</ol>
Runners name, club, status and punches can also manually be edited by either long pressing on a card in the list and selecting <b>Change Runner Details</b>
or by first clicking on the card and then selecting the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. In the Edit Runner dialog it is possible to expand it to also show the
runners punches by pressing the down arrow <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in the bottom right corner. There it is possible to change start time,
finish time and all the punches for the runner. The plus icon <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> and trash icon <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/>
on the right on every row, adds and removes the punch at that control.

<p>If there is a matching course found for the read out card, the runner is automatically assigned to that course and code checking will
be performed. If the wrong course gets assigned to the runner, you can manually reassign the runner to the correct course either by
long pressing on the card in the list and select <b>Change Runners Course</b> or by clicking on the card and then select the left course icon
<img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (the one with an update icon on the bottom right).

<p>If no matching course can be found for a card, the runner will be assigned to the course 'No course'. This will also mean that the runner
is directly set to OK as long as there is a finish punch/time in the card. There will not be any code checking at all performed for the runners
assigned to this course.

<p>It is also possible to define a new course based on all the codes registered in a card. This is very handy to use when the first runner on
each course comes to the finish. This is done either by long pressing a card in the list and selecting <b>Create Course from Card</b>
or by clicking on the card and then choose the right course icon <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (the one with a plus sign on the bottom right).
In the dialog you can name the course and make any other modifications to it before saving it as a new course.

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, it will be possible to print a split time receipt for a runner. In the details view of the
runner there is a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> that will print the split times on the receipt printer. It is also possible to configure
different levels of automatic printing in the Settings. Read more about split time printers in the Settings and on the
<a href=http://www.joja.se/index.php/Bluetooth_Printers>homepage</a> for the app.

<p>Completely remove a card from the app by either long press on a card and then selecting <b>Delete Runner</b>
or by clicking on a card and then select <b>Delete Runner</b> from the menu.

<p>If a runner doesn't have a card with him, it is still possible to add him to the event. By pressing the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/>, a dialog
will appear in which it is possible to type the runners name and club. It is also possible to enter the start and finish times for the runner.

<p>SI-Droid Event supports using and reading out the same SICard multiple times during an event. As long as the data in the card has been changed
in some way, the card will be read out as any other card. If, however a runner accidentally reads her card twice in a row, the second card
will not be accepted since identical data has already been read. When this happens, a brief explanatory text is shown on the screen.
<b><font color=red>OBS: Gratis-versionen (Lite) av appen tillåter bara utstämpling om det är färre än 10 brickor som redan är inlästa!</font></b>

<p>När en bricka har blivit avläst så hamnar den längst upp i listan med brickor. Genom att klicka på en bricka så får man upp en vy med all tillgänglig data
för brickavläsningen. Beroende på inställning som har gjorts under <b>Hämta ägaren till brickan</b> så kan namn och klubb för löparen automatiskt hämtas från
någon/flera av dessa ställen:
<ol>
<li>Från en redan utläst bricka med samma nummer</li>
<li>En egendefinierad fil på telefonens minne. Filen måste sparas i UTF8-format om svenska tecken ska användas. Varje rad i filen ska ha följande format:<br/>
<code>Bricknr, Löparnamn, Klubbnamn, EventorId, Bannamn</code></li>
Bara de två första fälten (bricknr och löparnamn) är obligatoriska, resterande är alla valfria att ange.
Rader som inte matchar formatet ignoreras.<br/>
Observera att det även är möjligt att använda semikolon (;) som separator istället för komma. Det gör det enkelt att skapa en lista med brickdata, t.ex. i Excel som sedan bara behöver sparas som en CSV-fil för att vara användbar.<br/>
Om ett bannamn har angetts som femte fält på en rad så kommer den brickan/löparen att automatiskt tilldelas denna bana vid utstämpling, oavsett om brickans stämplingar stämmer överens med banans kontroller eller inte. Om ingen bana finns med angivet namn så kommer en sådan bana att automatiskt skapas fast helt utan kontroller.
<li>Via ett uppslag över Internet från Eventor-arkivet (om mobil- eller Wifi-täckning finns)</li>
<li>Direkt från data lagrad på brickan (SICard6 och senare)</li>
</ol>

<p>Namn, klubb, status och stämplingar kan även manuellt redigeras för en bricka genom att antingen långtrycka på en bricka i listan och välja <b>Ändra löpardetaljer</b> eller först
klicka på brickan och sedan välja penn-ikonen <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. Dialogen Ändra löparen kan expanderas så att den även visar löparens alla stämplingar
genom att trycka på nedåtpilen <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> längst ner till höger. Där är det möjligt att ändra starttid, måltid och alla stämplingar i brickan.
Plusikonen <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> och papperskorgen <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/> till höger på varje rad lägger till och tar bort stämplingen
vid en viss kontroll.

<p>Vid en avläsning så matchas brickans stämplingar mot alla lagrade banor och den bästa väljs.
Om ingen matchande bana finns definierad så knyts brickan automatiskt till banan <b>Ingen bana</b>.
För dessa brickor görs ingen stämpelkontroll alls utan alla löpare blir direkt godkända så länge det finns en måltid lagrad i brickan.

<p>Om det finns en matchande bana för en avläst bricka så knyts brickan automatiskt till den banan och stämpelkontroll
kommer att utföras. Om knytningen till en bana blir felaktig så kan man manuellt knyta brickan till rätt bana antingen
genom ett långtryck på brickan i listan och sedan välja <b>Knyt bana till löparen</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan
välja vänstra banikonen <img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (den med en uppdateringssymbol nere till höger).

<p>Det är även möjligt att skapa en helt ny bana utifrån de stämplingar som finns på en bricka vilket kan vara praktiskt för
första löparen i mål på varje bana. Detta görs antingen genom att långtrycka på en bricka i listan och sedan välja <b>Skapa ny bana
från brickan</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan välja högra banikonen <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (den med ett plustecken nere till höger).
I dialogen som visas kan du namnge banan och göra eventuella justeringar innan du sparar den som en ny bana.

<p>Om en Bluetooth-skrivare finns konfigurerad i Inställningarna så är det möjligt att skriva ut ett sträcktidskvitto för en löpare. I löparens detaljvy finns en kvittoikon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> som gör att en utskrift skickas till skrivaren. Det går även att konfigurera olika nivåer av automatisk kvittoutskrift under Inställningarna.

<p>Ta bort en avläst bricka från appen genom att antingen långtrycka på en bricka och sedan välja <b>Ta bort löparen</b> eller genom att klicka på brickan och sedan välja <b>Ta bort löparen</b> i menyn.

<p>Om en löpare är med på en träning men saknar en bricka så går det att manuellt lägga till en löpare utan att läsa av en bricka. Tryck på plus-ikonen
<img src='ic_action_new.png'/> så kommer dialogen <b>Lägg till löpare utan bricka</b> upp. Där är det möjligt att skriva in namn och klubb och även ange start- o måltid för löparen.

<p>Det går alldeles utmärkt att använda och läsa av samma bricka flera gånger vid en träning/tävling. Så länge det inte är exakt
samma data som avläses från brickan så läggs brickan till som vilken annan bricka som helst. Om en löpare däremot av misstag råkar läsa av sin bricka
två gånger på raken så kommer inte andra utstämplingen att accepteras eftersom identisk data redan blivit läst. När det händer visas kort en förklarande text på skärmen.

Under the <b>Results</b> tab, all read out cards/runners are listed for each course in their result order. Here it is also possible to click
on a runner and get all the card details. It is also possible to click on the course row (in orange) to hide/show all the results for that course.

<p>By clicking the Share icon <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> it is possible to generate the following result reports: <ul>
<li>A straightforward result without any split times as a simple HTML page.</li>
<li>A complete split times report including all intermediate times and positions.</li>
<li>As an IOF v3.0 XML file (with split times). This file can then be imported to WinSplits or another kind of result system.</li>
<li>A split times report in the old OE2003/MT2003 CSV format. This file can e.g. be used for sharing split times on the site splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>A report with all cards in the event as a SportIdent CSV file</li>
<li>The whole event as a <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> backup for further post-processing.</li>
<li>A combined results report. When the same card has a result on more than one course, all those results are combined into a total result. This report comes
in three different variations as well. If a card has run the same course more than once, You can select if the best, the first or the last run from that course
should be the one counted towards the total result</li> </ul>

<p>All the different types of reports can be shared in the following ways: <ul>
<li>A simple preview in the web browser of the device.</li>
<li>Share the file through one of the other apps installed, e.g. Email, Dropbox or Google Drive</li>
<li>Export the file to a place of your choice.</li> </ul>

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> will be shown. By clicking the icon
it is possible to print a simple result report for the whole event.
Under fliken <b>Resultat</b> så listas alla avlästa brickor/löpare i placeringsordning för respektive bana. Det är möjligt att klicka
på en viss bricka/löpare och få fram alla detaljer från avläsningen. Det är även möjligt att klicka på själva banraden för att
gömma/visa alla resultat för den banan.<br> <p>Genom att klicka på Dela-ikonen <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> så kan följande resultatfiler genereras:
<ul>
<li>Enbart resultat utan några sträcktider som en enkel HTML-sida.</li> <li>En komplett sträcktidsrapport i HTML-format med alla mellantider och placeringar.</li>
<li>Som en IOF v3.0 XML-fil (med sträcktider). Denna fil kan användas för att skicka resultatet till t.ex. WinSplits eller Eventor. <br>OBS: Tänker du ladda upp XML-filen med resultat till Eventor så måste du ha angett EXAKT samma namn på banorna i appen som klasserna heter i Eventor
för att Eventor-importen ska fungera.</li>
<li>Sträcktider i det gamla OE2003/MT2003 CSV-formatet. Kan bl.a. användas för export av sträcktider till splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>Alla brickor i databasen som en SportIdent CSV-fil</li>
<li>Hela databasen som en <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/'>MeOS</a> backup. Användbart om man vill göra någon speciell efterbehandling som inte finns i appen.</li>
<li>En rapport med totalresultat. Om en och samma löpare (bricka) har sprungit flera banor så summeras löparens alla resultat till ett totalresultat. Denna rapport finns dessutom i tre varianter. Om samma bricka har sprungit en bana flera gånger så kan man välja vilket lopp som ska räknas med i totalen; bästa loppet, första loppet eller sista loppet</li>
</ul>

<p>Alla de olika typerna av rapporter kan delas på följande sätt:
<ul>
<li>En enkel förhandsgranskning i enhetens webbläsare.</li>
<li>Skicka filen via någon av enhetens installerade appar, t.ex Email, Dropbox eller Google Drive.</li>
<li>Exportera filen till valfri lagring.</li>
</ul>

<p>Om det finns en Bluetooth-skrivare ansluten så syns även kvittoikonen <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> här. Genom att klicka på den kan man skriva ut en enkel resultatlista för alla banorna.

notification becomes visible in the notification area!</font></b> <p>If this has not been done, you will not be able to read out any cards.

<p>There is a notification icon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> that belongs to the app which shows up in the notification area. When this notification icon is visible,
it will mean that the app have contact with either an SI Station or a serial-to-USB converter and can receive card readouts.
When the notification icon is blinking it indicates that the app is active talking to the station and reads out a card.

<p>It is not necessary for the main window of the app to be visible for card readouts to be possible. The important thing is that the notification is showing.
