The app have a single database that only can contain one event. The data in the database/event can though be exported (backed up) and later be imported (restored)
again into the database. If you want to switch to a new event you should first backup the current data and then clear all data in the database. After that you
are ready for a new event and still have a backup of the old event.

<p>All backups are saved on internal or external storage with event name and a timestamp. If you want to remove old backups you currently have to do that from
outside of the app.

<p>In the Manage DB menu it is possible to do the following:
<ul>
<li>Show some statistics about the event</li>
<li>Save a backup copy of the entire event to the SD card</li>
<li>Restore an event from a previously saved backup (only in Full version, not in Lite)</li>
<li>Erase all data for the current event, e.g when starting a new event</li>
<li>Restore an example event which can be useful for testing the app without access to a real SI Station</li>
</ul>
Aplikacja posiada tylko jedną bazę danych, więc może przechowywać tylko jedno wydarzenie na raz. Dane zawodów w bazie mogą być w związku z tym eksportowane (backup) i później importowane (przywracane) do bazy aplikacji. Under the tab <b>Courses</b> all defined courses are listed.

<p>SI-Droid Event can handle three different types of courses:
<ul>
<li>Normal OL-courses where all controls must be visited in the exact order as they are entered in the course.</li>
<li>Score courses with a time limit and an optional penalty when the runner is late. This course type is also known as Rogaining.</li>
<li>Score courses with a point limit. The runner must collect a certain number of points/controls to be OK. This type can be used for free order courses.</li>
</ul>

<p>By clicking on a particular course, you get a view of all available data for it.
The data for the course can be changed either by a long press in the list + <b>Change Course</b> or a click in the list + selecting
the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. The following things can be changed for a course:
<ul>
<li>The name of the course</li>
<li>The type of the course</li>
<li>For a Score course, it's possible to change the time/point limit and the penalty.</li>
<li>The controls for the course. Separate the controls with a space when entering them.<br>
For Score courses every control optionally have an assigned point value. The control code and the point value should be separated by either a ':' or a '-', e.g. 120-3.
Score courses can also have mandatory controls anywhere on the course. Use a point value of zero (0) for those. A control without a point value is counted as one point.</li>
<li>The length of the course (in meters). This is used in the results and for calculating the average speed of the runner.</li>
<li>The climb of the course (in meters). If the value is set it will be used in the results</li>
<li>If the course should have its own start time and the actual start time in that case. The start time will only be applied to runners that doesn't have a
start punch/time registered in the card.</li>
</ul>
It is also possible to manually create a new course by clicking on the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> and delete a course by selecting <b>Remove course</b>
or clicking the trash icon <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>If you want to change the ordering of the courses, it can be done by long pressing on the course you want to move and then choose either <b>Move Up</b> or
<b>Move Down</b> in the menu. This will affect the course ordering for all types of results and reports.

<p>If you already have courses defined in e.g OCAD, it is possible to import them via the menu option <b>Import Courses</b>.
The courses must first be exported from the course setting software as an IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 course file and copied to the SD card. When reimporting courses,
courses that have the exact same name will be updated instead of creating a new course.

<p>As soon as a change is made for a course, all the assigned runners' results will automatically be recalculated.
W zakładce <b> trasy</b> są wypisane wszystkie zdefiniowane trasy.
<p> SI-Droid Event obsługuje trzy rodzaje tras:
</p><ul>
<li> Standardowe stary biegu na orientację - zawodnik musi potwierdzić wszystkie zdefiniowane punkty w zadanej kolejności. </li>
<li>Rogaining - Scorelauf z limitem czasu i opcjonalną karą, jeśli zawodnik przekroczy limit. </li>
<li>Scorelauf z limitem punktów. Zawodnik musi zdobyć określoną liczbę punktów kontrolnych/punktów przeliczeniowych aby być OK. Tego typun rodzaj trasy można używać do tras z dowolną kolejnością.</li>
</ul>
<p>Klikając na daną trasę, można zobaczyć podgląd wszystkich dostępnych parametrów. Parametry te mogą być zmienione poprzez długie dotknięcie na liście, a następnie wybór opcji <b> zmień trasę</b> lub kliknięcie na liście, a następnie wybranie ikonki edycji <img src="ic_action_edit.png">.
Można zmieniać:
</p><ul>
<li> Nazwę trasy</li>
<li>Rodzaj trasy</li>
<li>dla Scorelauf i Rogaining można przypisać limit czasu/ limit punktów oraz karę</li>
<li>Punkty kontrolne przynależne do trasy. Wpisywane numery stacji muszą być oddzielone od siebie spacją.<br>
Dla tras Socrelauf i Rogaining każdy punkt kontrolny może mieś dodatkowo przypisaną wartośc punktową. Numer punktu i wartość muszą być rozdzielone dwukropkiem ":" lub myślnikiem "-" np. 120-3.
Obie te trasy mogą mieć punkty kontrolne, które należy obowiązkowo potwierdzić - wystarczy przypisać im wartość punktową 0. Punkty kontrolne bez przypisanej wartości będą traktowane jako punkty o wartości 1.</li>
<li> Długość trasy w metrach. Ta wartość będzie używana do obliczania średniej prędkości zawodnika.</li>
<li>Przewyższenia na trasie (w metrach). Po ustawieniu tej wartości, będzie wykorzystywana w wynikach</li>
<li> Jeżeli trasa ma ustawioną własną godzinę startu, również można to ustawić. Czas wpisany w tym miejscu będzie brany pod uwagę tylko wtedy, gdy zawodnik nie potwierdził puszki startowej lub nie ma zarejestrowanego czasu na Chipie</li></ul>
Klikając na ikonę plusa <img src="ic_action_new.png"> można ręcznie dodać trasę, a usunąć klikając <b> usuń trasę</b> lub wybierając ikonkę śmietnika <img src="ic_action_discard.png">.<p></p>
<p> Można zmienić wyświetlaną kolejność tras poprzez długie dotknięcie trasy, którą chce się przesunąć, a następnie wybranie opcji <b>przesuń w górę</b> lub <b>przesuń w dół</b>. Zmiana kolejności będzie dotyczyć wszystkich wyników i raportów.</p>
<p> Jeżeli masz już zdefiniowaną trasę, np. w OCAD, można ją zaimportować klikając <b>importuj trasę</b>. Aby to zrobić, trasa musi najpierw zostać wyeksportowana z odpowiedniego oprogramowania do projektowania tras jako plik IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 i skopiowana na kartę pamięci urządzenia.Przy ponownym imporcie tras, trasy o tych samych nazwach będą zaktualizowane, zamiast tworzenia nowej trasy.</p>
<p> Jeżeli zostanie wykonana jakaś zmiana w definicji trasy, to wyniki wszystkich przypisanych do trasy zawodników będą automatycznie przeliczone.</p>

<b><font color=red>NOTE: The free (Lite) version of the app only allows readout if there are fewer than 10 SICards already in the app!</font></b>

<p>When a SICard is read out it will be shown at the top of the readout list, with an orange background.
By clicking on one card, you will get a view of all available card data from the readout. Depending on the setting done in
<b>Lookup of Card owner</b> you can get the app to automatically retrieve the runners name and club from any of these places:
<ol>
<li>From an already read out card in the event with the same number</li>
<li>A user-defined file on the device's local storage. The file is recommended to be saved in UTF-8 format if any kind of special characters are needed.
Each row in the file should look like:<br/>
<code>SICard nbr, Runner name, Club name, External id, Course name</code></li>
Only the first two parts (card nbr and runner name) is mandatory, the rest is optional. Rows not matching this pattern will be ignored.<br/>
Note: It is also allowed to use semicolon (;) as a separator, instead of the comma which makes it simple to use e.g. Excel for creating the list and saving it as a CSV-file.<br/>
If a course name is added as the fifth part on a row, the runner will be assigned to that course regardless if the punches in the card matches that course or not.
If a course with that name doesn't yet exist, it will be created as a new course without any controls.
<li>From an SICard archive on the Internet (mostly Swedish runners; Mobile or Wifi coverage must be available)</li>
<li>Directly from the owner data stored on the SICard (SICard6 or later)</li>
</ol>
Runners name, club, status and punches can also manually be edited by either long pressing on a card in the list and selecting <b>Change Runner Details</b>
or by first clicking on the card and then selecting the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. In the Edit Runner dialog it is possible to expand it to also show the
runners punches by pressing the down arrow <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in the bottom right corner. There it is possible to change start time,
finish time and all the punches for the runner. The plus icon <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> and trash icon <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/>
on the right on every row, adds and removes the punch at that control.

<p>If there is a matching course found for the read out card, the runner is automatically assigned to that course and code checking will
be performed. If the wrong course gets assigned to the runner, you can manually reassign the runner to the correct course either by
long pressing on the card in the list and select <b>Change Runners Course</b> or by clicking on the card and then select the left course icon
<img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (the one with an update icon on the bottom right).

<p>If no matching course can be found for a card, the runner will be assigned to the course 'No course'. This will also mean that the runner
is directly set to OK as long as there is a finish punch/time in the card. There will not be any code checking at all performed for the runners
assigned to this course.

<p>It is also possible to define a new course based on all the codes registered in a card. This is very handy to use when the first runner on
each course comes to the finish. This is done either by long pressing a card in the list and selecting <b>Create Course from Card</b>
or by clicking on the card and then choose the right course icon <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (the one with a plus sign on the bottom right).
In the dialog you can name the course and make any other modifications to it before saving it as a new course.

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, it will be possible to print a split time receipt for a runner. In the details view of the
runner there is a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> that will print the split times on the receipt printer. It is also possible to configure
different levels of automatic printing in the Settings. Read more about split time printers in the Settings and on the
<a href=http://www.joja.se/index.php/Bluetooth_Printers>homepage</a> for the app.

<p>Completely remove a card from the app by either long press on a card and then selecting <b>Delete Runner</b>
or by clicking on a card and then select <b>Delete Runner</b> from the menu.

<p>If a runner doesn't have a card with him, it is still possible to add him to the event. By pressing the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/>, a dialog
will appear in which it is possible to type the runners name and club. It is also possible to enter the start and finish times for the runner.

<p>SI-Droid Event supports using and reading out the same SICard multiple times during an event. As long as the data in the card has been changed
in some way, the card will be read out as any other card. If, however a runner accidentally reads her card twice in a row, the second card
will not be accepted since identical data has already been read. When this happens, a brief explanatory text is shown on the screen.
<b><font color="red">Uwaga! Darmowa wersja (Lite) pozwala na odczyt maksymalnie 10 Chipów !</font></b>
<p> Po odczycie Chipa Si, będzie on widoczny na górze listy odczytów, na pomarańczowym tle.
Po kliknięciu na dany odczyt, pojawia się widok wszystkich danych z odczytu. W zależności od ustawień <b>Wyszukiwanie właściciela Chipa</b> możesz mieć automatyczny odczyt Nazwiska i klubu zawodnika z:
</p><ol>
<li> oOdczytanego podczas tych zawodów Chipa o tym samym numerze</li>
<li> wWłasnego, zdefiniowanego pliku w pamięci Twojego urządzenia. Plik powinien być zapisany z kodowaniem UTF-8, jeśli będą potrzebne jakiekolwiek znaki specjalne. Każdy wiersz tego pliku powinien zawierać:<br>
<code> Numer Chipa SI, Nazwisko zawodnika, Nazwaę klubu, ID w zewnętrznej bazie danych, nazwaę trasy</code></li>
Tylko pierwsze dwie wartości (numer chipa i nazwisko uczestnika) są obowiązkowe, reszta opcjonalna. Wiersze, które nie będą zgodne z przykładem, będą pomijane.<br>
Uwaga! Można zamiast przecinka (,) używać średnika (;) do rozdzielenia danych, co powinno ułatwić np. wykorzystanie Excela do tworzenia listy i zapisywania jako plik .csv<br>
Jeśli na piątym miejscu dodasz nazwę trasy, zawodnik będzie do niej zakwalifikowany, niezależnie czy jego potwierdzenia pokrywają się z tą trasą, czy nie.
Jeżeli nie ma zdefiniowanej trasy o tej nazwie, zostanie automatycznie zdefiniowana jako nowa trasa, bez żadnych punktów kontrolnych.
<li> aArchiwum Chipów SI z internetu (głównie Szwedzcy zawodnicy; konieczne jest połączenie z internetem przez sieć komórkową lub WiFi)</li>
<li> bBezpośrednio z danych przechowywanych na Chipie (SICard 6 lub nowsze)</li></ol>
Nazwisko uczestnika, klub, status i potwierdzenia mogą być zmienione ręcznie, poprzez długie dotknięcie odczytu i wybranie <b>Zmień dane zawodnika"</b>, lub najpierw wybranie odczytu, a później wybraniu ikony edycji <img src="ic_action_edit.png">. Okno edycji zawodnika można rozszerzyć klikając strzałkę w dół <img src="ic_expand_more_black.png"> w prawym dolnym rogu, aby zobaczyć potwierdzone przez zawodnika stacje. Istnieje możliwość dodania lub zmiany czasu startu, mety i wszystkich potwierdzeń zawodnika. <p> Jeśli nie można automatycznie dopasować żadnej trasy do zawodnika, zostanie on przypisany do "brak trasy". To oznacza, że zawodnik jest od razu przypisywany do statusu OK, o ile na Chipie zapisany była meta lub czas mety. Żadne potwierdzenia punktów kontrolnych nie będą sprawdzane dla zawodników, którzy są przypisani do "brak trasy".</p>

Jeżeli zawodnik przez przypadek odczyta Chip dwukrotnie pod rząd, drugi odczyt nie będzie wykonany, ponieważ karta jest już odczytana. W takim przypadku pojawi się krótki komunikat na ekranie</p>
