<p>SI-Droid Event is an Android app that makes it possible to arrange simple orienteering events with SportIdent without
having to bring along more than a mobile phone/tablet and a SI Readout Station to the event site. No need for a computer anymore.</p>

<p>The basic idea when using the app is that it should need as little preparation as possible before the event.
The only preparation you need to do is to configure the name, date and zero time (especially if SICard5 is used) of the event under
<b>Settings</b> to be ready. The rest is easily handled at the same time as the runners are finishing.</p>

<p>To be able to connect the SI Readout Station to the phone, a USB-OTG adapter is needed. Such an adapter should be available in most phone or electronic shops
for less than €10. When connecting a station via the USB-OTG adapter to your device, take care not to damage the USB port in your device. The USB port could easily
break if you e.g. drop the station while it's connected to the phone.

<p>IMPORTANT: When a USB Station or a serial-to-USB converter is connected to the phone, the dialog <b>Choose an app for the USB device</b> will automatically be shown. <p><b><font color=red>For the readout to work properly, it's very important that the SI-Droid Event app is actively selected in this dialog and that the
notification becomes visible in the notification area!</font></b> <p>If this has not been done, you will not be able to read out any cards.

<p>There is a notification icon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> that belongs to the app which shows up in the notification area. When this notification icon is visible,
it will mean that the app have contact with either an SI Station or a serial-to-USB converter and can receive card readouts.
When the notification icon is blinking it indicates that the app is active talking to the station and reads out a card.

<p>It is not necessary for the main window of the app to be visible for card readouts to be possible. The important thing is that the notification is showing.
This also means that readouts will be possible even if the screen is turned off and locked or if e.g. a phone call is being made.

<p>Shutdown the entire app, including the card readout, by opening the app and choose <b>Exit</b> in the main menu.
<p>SI-Droid Event ist eine Android-App, die es ermöglicht, mit SportIdent einfache Orientierungslaufveranstaltungen zu organisieren, ohne dass mehr als ein Handy/Tablet und eine SI-Auslesestation zum Veranstaltungsort mitbringen zu müssen. Sie benötigen keinen Computer mehr.</p>

<p>Die Grundidee bei der Nutzung der App ist, dass es vor der Veranstaltung so wenig Vorbereitung wie möglich benötigt.
Die einzige Vorbereitung die Sie durchführen müssen, ist die Konfiguration von Name, Datum und Nullzeit (insbesondere bei Verwendung von SI-Card5) der Veranstaltung unter <b>Einstellungen</b>, um bereit zu sein. Der Rest ist einfach zu handhaben, zur gleichen Zeit in der die Läufer fertig sind.

<p>Um die SI-Auslesestation an das Telefon anschließen zu können, wird ein USB-OTG Adapter benötigt. Einen solchen Adapter sollte in den meisten Telefon- oder Elektronikgeschäften erhältlich sein, für weniger als 10 €. Wenn Sie eine Station über den USB-OTG Adapter an Ihr Gerät anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass der USB-Anschluss Ihres Gerätes nicht beschädigt wird. Der USB-Anschluss könnte leicht brechen, wenn Sie z.B. die Station fallen lassen, während sie mit dem Telefon verbunden ist.

<p>Es gibt ein Benachrichtigungssymbol <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> das zur App gehört, die im Benachrichtigungsbereich erscheint. <p>When a SICard is read out it will be shown at the top of the readout list, with an orange background.
By clicking on one card, you will get a view of all available card data from the readout. Depending on the setting done in
<b>Lookup of Card owner</b> you can get the app to automatically retrieve the runners name and club from any of these places:
<ol>
<li>From an already read out card in the event with the same number</li>
<li>A user-defined file on the device's local storage. The file is recommended to be saved in UTF-8 format if any kind of special characters are needed.
Each row in the file should look like:<br/>
<code>SICard nbr, Runner name, Club name, External id, Course name</code></li>
Only the first two parts (card nbr and runner name) is mandatory, the rest is optional. Rows not matching this pattern will be ignored.<br/>
Note: It is also allowed to use semicolon (;) as a separator, instead of the comma which makes it simple to use e.g. Excel for creating the list and saving it as a CSV-file.<br/>
If a course name is added as the fifth part on a row, the runner will be assigned to that course regardless if the punches in the card matches that course or not.
If a course with that name doesn't yet exist, it will be created as a new course without any controls.
<li>From an SICard archive on the Internet (mostly Swedish runners; Mobile or Wifi coverage must be available)</li>
<li>Directly from the owner data stored on the SICard (SICard6 or later)</li>
</ol>
Runners name, club, status and punches can also manually be edited by either long pressing on a card in the list and selecting <b>Change Runner Details</b>
or by first clicking on the card and then selecting the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. In the Edit Runner dialog it is possible to expand it to also show the
runners punches by pressing the down arrow <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in the bottom right corner. There it is possible to change start time,
finish time and all the punches for the runner. The plus icon <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> and trash icon <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/>
on the right on every row, adds and removes the punch at that control.

<p>If there is a matching course found for the read out card, the runner is automatically assigned to that course and code checking will
be performed. If the wrong course gets assigned to the runner, you can manually reassign the runner to the correct course either by
long pressing on the card in the list and select <b>Change Runners Course</b> or by clicking on the card and then select the left course icon
<img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (the one with an update icon on the bottom right).

<p>If no matching course can be found for a card, the runner will be assigned to the course 'No course'. This will also mean that the runner
is directly set to OK as long as there is a finish punch/time in the card. There will not be any code checking at all performed for the runners
assigned to this course.

<p>It is also possible to define a new course based on all the codes registered in a card. This is very handy to use when the first runner on
each course comes to the finish. This is done either by long pressing a card in the list and selecting <b>Create Course from Card</b>
or by clicking on the card and then choose the right course icon <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (the one with a plus sign on the bottom right).
In the dialog you can name the course and make any other modifications to it before saving it as a new course.

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, it will be possible to print a split time receipt for a runner. In the details view of the
runner there is a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> that will print the split times on the receipt printer. It is also possible to configure
different levels of automatic printing in the Settings. Read more about split time printers in the Settings and on the
<a href=http://www.joja.se/index.php/Bluetooth_Printers>homepage</a> for the app.

<p>Completely remove a card from the app by either long press on a card and then selecting <b>Delete Runner</b>
or by clicking on a card and then select <b>Delete Runner</b> from the menu.

<p>If a runner doesn't have a card with him, it is still possible to add him to the event. By pressing the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/>, a dialog
will appear in which it is possible to type the runners name and club. It is also possible to enter the start and finish times for the runner.

<p>SI-Droid Event supports using and reading out the same SICard multiple times during an event. As long as the data in the card has been changed
in some way, the card will be read out as any other card. If, however a runner accidentally reads her card twice in a row, the second card
will not be accepted since identical data has already been read. When this happens, a brief explanatory text is shown on the screen.

<p>Wenn eine SI-Card ausgelesen wird, erscheint sie oben in der Ausleseliste mit einem orangen Hintergrund. Durch auswählen einer SI-Card, erhalten Sie eine Übersicht über alle verfügbaren Daten des Läufers. Abhängig von der Einstellung unter <b>Nachschlagen der Läuferdaten</b>, ruft die App den Namen und Club der Läufer automatisch von jedem dieser Orte ab:

Name, Club, Status und Stempel der Läufer können auch manuell bearbeitet werden, indem man entweder lange auf eine Läufer in der Liste drückt und <b>Läuferdaten ändern</b> auswählt oder indem Sie zuerst auf den Läufer klicken und dann das Symbol "Bearbeiten" <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> auswählen. Im "Läufer bearbeiten" Dialog ist es auch möglich die Anzeige zu erweitern um die Stempel anzuzeigen, indem Sie den Abwärtspfeil <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in der rechten unteren Ecke drücken. Dort ist es möglich die Startzeit, Zielzeit und alle Stempel des Läufers zu ändern. Das Plus-Symbol <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> und Papierkorbsymbol <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/> rechts in jeder Linie, fügt den Stempel an dieser Stelle hinzu und entfernt ihn.

<p>Wenn eine passende Bahn für die ausgelesene SI-Card gefunden wird, wird der Läufer automatisch dieser Bahn zugeordnet und die Postennummern werden überprüft. Wenn dem Läufer die falsche Bahn zugewiesen wird, können Sie manuell die richtige Bahn zuordnen, entweder durch langes drücken auf den Läufer in der Liste und durch Auswahl von <b>Bahn des Läufers ändern</b> oder indem Sie auf den Läufer klicken und dann das linke Bahnsymbol <img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (das mit einem Aktualisierungssymbol unten rechts) auswählen.

<p>Kann für eine SI-Card keine passende Bahn gefunden werden, so wird der Läufer zu der Bahn 'Keine Bahn' zugeordnet. Dies bedeutet auch dass der Läufer direkt auf OK gesetzt wird, solange sich ein Zielzeit auf der SI-Card befindet. Für die diesem Kurs zugeordneten Läufer werden die Postennummern nicht geprüft.

<p>Es ist auch möglich eine neue Bahn zu definieren, die auf allen registrierten Posten auf einer SI-Card basiert. Dies ist sehr praktisch wenn jeweils der erste Läufer auf jeder Bahn ins Ziel kommt. Dies geschieht entweder durch langes Drücken auf einen Läufer in der Liste und Auswahl von <b>Bahn von der SI-Card erstellen</b> oder durch Klicken auf die Karte und anschließendes Auswählen des korrekten Bahnsymbol <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (das mit einem Pluszeichen unten rechts).
Im Dialog können Sie die Bahn benennen und weitere Änderungen vornehmen, bevor Sie sie als neue Bahn speichern.

<p>Wenn in den Einstellungen ein Bluetooth Drucker konfiguriert ist, ist es möglich für einen Läufer die Zwischenzeiten zu drucken. In der Detailansicht des Läufers gibt es ein Belegsymbol <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/>, das die Zwischenzeiten auf dem Drucker ausgibt. Es ist auch möglich, verschiedene Stufen des automatischen Druckens in den Einstellungen zu konfigurieren. Lesen Sie mehr über Zwischenzeitdrucker in den Einstellungen und auf der

<p>SI-Droid Event unterstützt die mehrfache Verwendung und Auslesung derselben SI-Card während eines Wettkampfes. Solange die Daten auf der SI-Card in irgendeiner Weise verändert wurden, wird die SI-Card wie jede andere SI-Card ausgelesen. Liest ein Läufer jedoch versehentlich seine SI-Card zweimal hintereinander aus, so wird die zweite SI-Card nicht akzeptiert, da bereits identische Daten gelesen wurden. In diesem Fall wird ein kurzer Erklärungstext auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt.

Under the tab <b>Courses</b> all defined courses are listed.

<p>SI-Droid Event can handle three different types of courses:
<ul>
<li>Normal OL-courses where all controls must be visited in the exact order as they are entered in the course.</li>
<li>Score courses with a time limit and an optional penalty when the runner is late. This course type is also known as Rogaining.</li>
<li>Score courses with a point limit. The runner must collect a certain number of points/controls to be OK. This type can be used for free order courses.</li>
</ul>

<p>By clicking on a particular course, you get a view of all available data for it.
The data for the course can be changed either by a long press in the list + <b>Change Course</b> or a click in the list + selecting
the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. The following things can be changed for a course:
<ul>
<li>The name of the course</li>
<li>The type of the course</li>
<li>For a Score course, it's possible to change the time/point limit and the penalty.</li>
<li>The controls for the course. Separate the controls with a space when entering them.<br>
For Score courses every control optionally have an assigned point value. The control code and the point value should be separated by either a ':' or a '-', e.g. 120-3.
Score courses can also have mandatory controls anywhere on the course. Use a point value of zero (0) for those. A control without a point value is counted as one point.</li>
<li>The length of the course (in meters). This is used in the results and for calculating the average speed of the runner.</li>
<li>The climb of the course (in meters). If the value is set it will be used in the results</li>
<li>If the course should have its own start time and the actual start time in that case. The start time will only be applied to runners that doesn't have a
start punch/time registered in the card.</li>
</ul>
It is also possible to manually create a new course by clicking on the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> and delete a course by selecting <b>Remove course</b>
or clicking the trash icon <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>If you want to change the ordering of the courses, it can be done by long pressing on the course you want to move and then choose either <b>Move Up</b> or
<b>Move Down</b> in the menu. This will affect the course ordering for all types of results and reports.

<p>If you already have courses defined in e.g OCAD, it is possible to import them via the menu option <b>Import Courses</b>.
The courses must first be exported from the course setting software as an IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 course file and copied to the SD card. When reimporting courses,
courses that have the exact same name will be updated instead of creating a new course.

<p>As soon as a change is made for a course, all the assigned runners' results will automatically be recalculated.

<p>SI-Droid Event kann drei verschiedene Arten von Bahnen verarbeiten:

<p>Durch Anklicken eines bestimmten Bahn erhalten Sie eine Übersicht über alle verfügbaren Daten.
Die Daten für die Bahn können entweder durch einen langes drücken in der Liste + <b>Bahn ändern</b> oder durch einen Klick in der Liste + Auswahl des Bearbeitungssymbols <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> geändert werden. Die folgenden Dinge können für eine Bahn geändert werden:
<ul>
<li>Der Name der Bahn</li>
<li>Der Typ der Bahn</li>
<li>Für eine Score-Bahn ist es möglich das Zeit-/Punktelimit und die Strafe zu ändern.</li>
<li>Die Posten für die Bahn. Trenne Sie die Postennummern bei der Eingabe durch ein Leerzeichen.<br>
Für Score-Bahnen hat jeder Posten optional einen zugewiesenen Punktewert. Die Postenummer und die Punkte sollten entweder durch ein ':' oder ein '-' getrennt sein, z. B. 120-3.
Score-Bahnen können auch obligatorische Posten an beliebiger Stelle auf der Bahn haben. Verwenden Sie für diese einen Punktewert von Null (0). Ein Posten ohne Punktewert wird als ein Punkt gezählt.</li>
<li>Die Länge desr Bahn (in Metern). Diese wird in der Rangliste und zur Berechnung der Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit des Läufers verwendet.</li>
<li>Die Steigung der Bahn (in Metern). Wenn der Wert gesetzt ist, wird er in der Rangliste verwendet.</li>
<li>Wenn die Bahn eine eigene Startzeit haben soll und in diesem Fall die tatsächliche Startzeit. Die Startzeit wird nur auf Läufer angewendet, die keinen Startstempel auf der SI-Card haben.</li>
</ul>
Es ist auch möglich einen neue Bahn manuell zu erstellen, indem Sie auf das Plus-Symbol <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> klicken und eine Bahn zu löschen, indem Sie <b>Bahn löschen</b> auswählen oder klicken Sie auf das Papierkorbsymbol <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>Wenn Sie die Reihenfolge der Bahnen ändern möchten, können Sie dies tun, indem Sie die zu verschiebende Bahn lange drücken und dann entweder <b>Nach oben verschieben</b> oder <b>Nach unten verschieben</b> im Menü wählen. Under the <b>Results</b> tab, all read out cards/runners are listed for each course in their result order. Here it is also possible to click
on a runner and get all the card details. It is also possible to click on the course row (in orange) to hide/show all the results for that course.

<p>By clicking the Share icon <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> it is possible to generate the following result reports: <ul>
<li>A straightforward result without any split times as a simple HTML page.</li>
<li>A complete split times report including all intermediate times and positions.</li>
<li>As an IOF v3.0 XML file (with split times). This file can then be imported to WinSplits or another kind of result system.</li>
<li>A split times report in the old OE2003/MT2003 CSV format. This file can e.g. be used for sharing split times on the site splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>A report with all cards in the event as a SportIdent CSV file</li>
<li>The whole event as a <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> backup for further post-processing.</li>
<li>A combined results report. When the same card has a result on more than one course, all those results are combined into a total result. This report comes
in three different variations as well. If a card has run the same course more than once, You can select if the best, the first or the last run from that course
should be the one counted towards the total result</li> </ul>

<p>All the different types of reports can be shared in the following ways: <ul>
<li>A simple preview in the web browser of the device.</li>
<li>Share the file through one of the other apps installed, e.g. Email, Dropbox or Google Drive</li>
<li>Export the file to a place of your choice.</li> </ul>

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> will be shown. By clicking the icon
it is possible to print a simple result report for the whole event.

<li>Als IOF v3.0 XML-Datei (mit Zwischenzeiten). Diese Datei kann dann in WinSplits oder ein anderes Resultatesystem importiert werden.</li>
<li>Eine Zwischenzeitenrangliste im alten CSV-Format OE2003/MT2003. Diese Datei kann z. B. zum teilen von Zwischenzeiten auf der Seite splitsbrowser.org.uk verwendet werden.</li>
<li>Eine Rangliste mit allen SI-Cards für diesen Wettkampf als SportIdent CSV-Datei.</li>
<li>Den ganzen Wettkampf als <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> Sicherung für die weitere Nachbearbeitung.</li>
<li>Eine kombinierte Rangliste. Wenn die gleiche SI-Card Resultate auf mehr als einer Bahn hat, werden alle diese Resultate zu einem zusammengefasst. Auch diese Rangliste gibt es in drei verschiedenen Varianten. Wenn eine SI-Card die gleiche Bahn mehr als einmal absolviert hat, können Sie wählen ob der beste, der erste oder der letzte Lauf dieser Bahn derjenige sein soll, der zum Gesamtresultat gezählt wird.</li> </ul>

<p>Alle verschiedenen Arten von Berichten können auf folgende Weise geteilt werden: <ul>
<li>Als einfache Vorschau im Webbrowser des Gerätes.</li>

The app have a single database that only can contain one event. The data in the database/event can though be exported (backed up) and later be imported (restored)
again into the database. If you want to switch to a new event you should first backup the current data and then clear all data in the database. After that you
are ready for a new event and still have a backup of the old event.

<p>All backups are saved on internal or external storage with event name and a timestamp. If you want to remove old backups you currently have to do that from
outside of the app.

<p>In the Manage DB menu it is possible to do the following: <ul>
<li>Show some statistics about the event</li>
<li>Save a backup copy of the entire event to the SD card</li>
<li>Restore an event from a previously saved backup (only in Full version, not in Lite)</li>
<li>Erase all data for the current event, e.g when starting a new event</li>
<li>Restore an example event which can be useful for testing the app without access to a real SI Station</li> </ul>

<p>SI-Droid Event is an Android app that makes it possible to arrange simple orienteering events with SportIdent without
having to bring along more than a mobile phone/tablet and a SI Readout Station to the event site. No need for a computer anymore.</p>

<p>The basic idea when using the app is that it should need as little preparation as possible before the event.
The only preparation you need to do is to configure the name, date and zero time (especially if SICard5 is used) of the event under
<b>Settings</b> to be ready. The rest is easily handled at the same time as the runners are finishing.</p>

<p>To be able to connect the SI Readout Station to the phone, a USB-OTG adapter is needed. Such an adapter should be available in most phone or electronic shops
for less than €10. When connecting a station via the USB-OTG adapter to your device, take care not to damage the USB port in your device. The USB port could easily
break if you e.g. drop the station while it's connected to the phone.

<p>IMPORTANT: When a USB Station or a serial-to-USB converter is connected to the phone, the dialog <b>Choose an app for the USB device</b> will automatically be shown. <p><b><font color=red>For the readout to work properly, it's very important that the SI-Droid Event app is actively selected in this dialog and that the
notification becomes visible in the notification area!</font></b> <p>If this has not been done, you will not be able to read out any cards.

<p>There is a notification icon <img src='ic_stat_simaster.png'/> that belongs to the app which shows up in the notification area. When this notification icon is visible,
it will mean that the app have contact with either an SI Station or a serial-to-USB converter and can receive card readouts.
When the notification icon is blinking it indicates that the app is active talking to the station and reads out a card.

<p>It is not necessary for the main window of the app to be visible for card readouts to be possible. The important thing is that the notification is showing.
This also means that readouts will be possible even if the screen is turned off and locked or if e.g. a phone call is being made.

<p>Shutdown the entire app, including the card readout, by opening the app and choose <b>Exit</b> in the main menu.
<p>SI-Droid Event ist eine Android-App, die es ermöglicht, mit SportIdent einfache Orientierungslaufveranstaltungen zu organisieren, ohne dass mehr als ein Handy/Tablet und eine SI-Auslesestation zum Veranstaltungsort mitbringen zu müssen. Sie benötigen keinen Computer mehr.</p>

<p>Die Grundidee bei der Nutzung der App ist, dass es vor der Veranstaltung so wenig Vorbereitung wie möglich benötigt.
Die einzige Vorbereitung die Sie durchführen müssen, ist die Konfiguration von Name, Datum und Nullzeit (insbesondere bei Verwendung von SI-Card5) der Veranstaltung unter <b>Einstellungen</b>, um bereit zu sein. Der Rest ist einfach zu handhaben, zur gleichen Zeit in der die Läufer fertig sind.

<p>Um die SI-Auslesestation an das Telefon anschließen zu können, wird ein USB-OTG Adapter benötigt. Einen solchen Adapter sollte in den meisten Telefon- oder Elektronikgeschäften erhältlich sein, für weniger als 10 €. Wenn Sie eine Station über den USB-OTG Adapter an Ihr Gerät anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass der USB-Anschluss Ihres Gerätes nicht beschädigt wird. Der USB-Anschluss könnte leicht brechen, wenn Sie z.B. die Station fallen lassen, während sie mit dem Telefon verbunden ist.

<p>WICHTIG: Wenn eine USB-Station oder ein Seriell zu USB Konverter an das Telefon angeschlossen ist, wird der Dialog <b>App für das USB-Gerät auswählen</b> automatisch angezeigt. <p><b><font color=red>Damit das Auslesen richtig funktioniert, ist es sehr wichtig dass die SI-Droid Event App in diesem Dialog aktiv ausgewählt ist und dass die Benachrichtigung im Benachrichtigungsbereich sichtbar wird!</font></b> <p>Wenn dies nicht geschehen ist, können Sie keine SI-Cards auslesen.

Under the tab <b>Courses</b> all defined courses are listed.

<p>SI-Droid Event can handle three different types of courses:
<ul>
<li>Normal OL-courses where all controls must be visited in the exact order as they are entered in the course.</li>
<li>Score courses with a time limit and an optional penalty when the runner is late. This course type is also known as Rogaining.</li>
<li>Score courses with a point limit. The runner must collect a certain number of points/controls to be OK. This type can be used for free order courses.</li>
</ul>

<p>By clicking on a particular course, you get a view of all available data for it.
The data for the course can be changed either by a long press in the list + <b>Change Course</b> or a click in the list + selecting
the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. The following things can be changed for a course:
<ul>
<li>The name of the course</li>
<li>The type of the course</li>
<li>For a Score course, it's possible to change the time/point limit and the penalty.</li>
<li>The controls for the course. Separate the controls with a space when entering them.<br>
For Score courses every control optionally have an assigned point value. The control code and the point value should be separated by either a ':' or a '-', e.g. 120-3.
Score courses can also have mandatory controls anywhere on the course. Use a point value of zero (0) for those. A control without a point value is counted as one point.</li>
<li>The length of the course (in meters). This is used in the results and for calculating the average speed of the runner.</li>
<li>The climb of the course (in meters). If the value is set it will be used in the results</li>
<li>If the course should have its own start time and the actual start time in that case. The start time will only be applied to runners that doesn't have a
start punch/time registered in the card.</li>
</ul>
It is also possible to manually create a new course by clicking on the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> and delete a course by selecting <b>Remove course</b>
or clicking the trash icon <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>If you want to change the ordering of the courses, it can be done by long pressing on the course you want to move and then choose either <b>Move Up</b> or
<b>Move Down</b> in the menu. This will affect the course ordering for all types of results and reports.

<p>If you already have courses defined in e.g OCAD, it is possible to import them via the menu option <b>Import Courses</b>.
The courses must first be exported from the course setting software as an IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 course file and copied to the SD card. When reimporting courses,
courses that have the exact same name will be updated instead of creating a new course.

<p>As soon as a change is made for a course, all the assigned runners' results will automatically be recalculated.

<p>SI-Droid Event kann drei verschiedene Arten von Bahnen verarbeiten:

</ul>

<p>Durch Anklicken eines bestimmten Bahn erhalten Sie eine Übersicht über alle verfügbaren Daten.
Die Daten für die Bahn können entweder durch einen langes drücken in der Liste + <b>Bahn ändern</b> oder durch einen Klick in der Liste + Auswahl des Bearbeitungssymbols <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> geändert werden. Die folgenden Dinge können für eine Bahn geändert werden:
<ul>
<li>Der Name der Bahn</li>
<li>Der Typ der Bahn</li>
<li>Für eine Score-Bahn ist es möglich das Zeit-/Punktelimit und die Strafe zu ändern.</li>
<li>Die Posten für die Bahn. Trenne Sie die Postennummern bei der Eingabe durch ein Leerzeichen.<br>
Für Score-Bahnen hat jeder Posten optional einen zugewiesenen Punktewert. Die Postenummer und die Punkte sollten entweder durch ein ':' oder ein '-' getrennt sein, z. B. 120-3.
Score-Bahnen können auch obligatorische Posten an beliebiger Stelle auf der Bahn haben. Verwenden Sie für diese einen Punktewert von Null (0). Ein Posten ohne Punktewert wird als ein Punkt gezählt.</li>
<li>Die Länge desr Bahn (in Metern). Diese wird in der Rangliste und zur Berechnung der Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit des Läufers verwendet.</li>
<li>Die Steigung der Bahn (in Metern). Wenn der Wert gesetzt ist, wird er in der Rangliste verwendet.</li>
<li>Wenn die Bahn eine eigene Startzeit haben soll und in diesem Fall die tatsächliche Startzeit. Die Startzeit wird nur auf Läufer angewendet, die keinen Startstempel auf der SI-Card haben.</li>
</ul>
Es ist auch möglich einen neue Bahn manuell zu erstellen, indem Sie auf das Plus-Symbol <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> klicken und eine Bahn zu löschen, indem Sie <b>Bahn löschen</b> auswählen oder klicken Sie auf das Papierkorbsymbol <img src='ic_action_discard.png'/>.

<p>Wenn Sie die Reihenfolge der Bahnen ändern möchten, können Sie dies tun, indem Sie die zu verschiebende Bahn lange drücken und dann entweder <b>Nach oben verschieben</b> oder <b>Nach unten verschieben</b> im Menü wählen. Dies wirkt sich auf die Reihenfolge der Bahnen für alle Arten von Resultate und Ranglisten aus.

<p>Wenn Sie bereits Bahnen in z. B. OCAD definiert haben, ist es möglich, diese über den Menüpunkt <b>Bahnen importieren</b> zu importieren.
Die Bahnen müssen zunächst aus der Bahnlegungssoftware als IOF XML v2.0.3/v3.0 Bahndatei exportiert und auf die SD-Karte kopiert werden. Beim importieren von Bahnen werden Bahnen, die genau den gleichen Namen haben, aktualisiert, anstatt eine neue Bahn anzulegen.

<p>Sobald eine Änderung an einer Bahn vorgenommen wird, werden alle Resultate der zugeordneten Läufer automatisch neu berechnet.

<p>When a SICard is read out it will be shown at the top of the readout list, with an orange background.
By clicking on one card, you will get a view of all available card data from the readout. Depending on the setting done in
<b>Lookup of Card owner</b> you can get the app to automatically retrieve the runners name and club from any of these places:
<ol>
<li>From an already read out card in the event with the same number</li>
<li>A user-defined file on the device's local storage. The file is recommended to be saved in UTF-8 format if any kind of special characters are needed.
Each row in the file should look like:<br/>
<code>SICard nbr, Runner name, Club name, External id, Course name</code></li>
Only the first two parts (card nbr and runner name) is mandatory, the rest is optional. Rows not matching this pattern will be ignored.<br/>
Note: It is also allowed to use semicolon (;) as a separator, instead of the comma which makes it simple to use e.g. Excel for creating the list and saving it as a CSV-file.<br/>
If a course name is added as the fifth part on a row, the runner will be assigned to that course regardless if the punches in the card matches that course or not.
If a course with that name doesn't yet exist, it will be created as a new course without any controls.
<li>From an SICard archive on the Internet (mostly Swedish runners; Mobile or Wifi coverage must be available)</li>
<li>Directly from the owner data stored on the SICard (SICard6 or later)</li>
</ol>
Runners name, club, status and punches can also manually be edited by either long pressing on a card in the list and selecting <b>Change Runner Details</b>
or by first clicking on the card and then selecting the Edit icon <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/>. In the Edit Runner dialog it is possible to expand it to also show the
runners punches by pressing the down arrow <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in the bottom right corner. There it is possible to change start time,
finish time and all the punches for the runner. The plus icon <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> and trash icon <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/>
on the right on every row, adds and removes the punch at that control.

<p>If there is a matching course found for the read out card, the runner is automatically assigned to that course and code checking will
be performed. If the wrong course gets assigned to the runner, you can manually reassign the runner to the correct course either by
long pressing on the card in the list and select <b>Change Runners Course</b> or by clicking on the card and then select the left course icon
<img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (the one with an update icon on the bottom right).

<p>If no matching course can be found for a card, the runner will be assigned to the course 'No course'. This will also mean that the runner
is directly set to OK as long as there is a finish punch/time in the card. There will not be any code checking at all performed for the runners
assigned to this course.

<p>It is also possible to define a new course based on all the codes registered in a card. This is very handy to use when the first runner on
each course comes to the finish. This is done either by long pressing a card in the list and selecting <b>Create Course from Card</b>
or by clicking on the card and then choose the right course icon <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (the one with a plus sign on the bottom right).
In the dialog you can name the course and make any other modifications to it before saving it as a new course.

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, it will be possible to print a split time receipt for a runner. In the details view of the
runner there is a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> that will print the split times on the receipt printer. It is also possible to configure
different levels of automatic printing in the Settings. Read more about split time printers in the Settings and on the
<a href=http://www.joja.se/index.php/Bluetooth_Printers>homepage</a> for the app.

<p>Completely remove a card from the app by either long press on a card and then selecting <b>Delete Runner</b>
or by clicking on a card and then select <b>Delete Runner</b> from the menu.

<p>If a runner doesn't have a card with him, it is still possible to add him to the event. By pressing the plus icon <img src='ic_action_new.png'/>, a dialog
will appear in which it is possible to type the runners name and club. It is also possible to enter the start and finish times for the runner.

<p>SI-Droid Event supports using and reading out the same SICard multiple times during an event. As long as the data in the card has been changed
in some way, the card will be read out as any other card. If, however a runner accidentally reads her card twice in a row, the second card
will not be accepted since identical data has already been read. When this happens, a brief explanatory text is shown on the screen.
<b><font color=red>HINWEIS: Die kostenlose (Lite-)Version der App erlaubt das Auslesen nur, wenn sich weniger als 10 SI-Cards in der App befinden!</font></b>

<p>Wenn eine SI-Card ausgelesen wird, erscheint sie oben in der Ausleseliste mit einem orangen Hintergrund. Durch auswählen einer SI-Card, erhalten Sie eine Übersicht über alle verfügbaren Daten des Läufers. Abhängig von der Einstellung unter <b>Nachschlagen der Läuferdaten</b>, ruft die App den Namen und Club der Läufer automatisch von jedem dieser Orte ab:
<ol>
<li>Von einer bereits ausgelesenen SI-Card mit derselben Nummer</li>
<li>Eine benutzerdefinierte Datei auf der SD-Karte des Geräts. Wenn Sonderzeichen benötigt werden, wird empfohlen die Datei im UTF-8-Format zu speichern.
Jede Zeile in der Datei muss folgendermaßen aussehen:<br/>

Name, Club, Status und Stempel der Läufer können auch manuell bearbeitet werden, indem man entweder lange auf eine Läufer in der Liste drückt und <b>Läuferdaten ändern</b> auswählt oder indem Sie zuerst auf den Läufer klicken und dann das Symbol "Bearbeiten" <img src='ic_action_edit.png'/> auswählen. Im "Läufer bearbeiten" Dialog ist es auch möglich die Anzeige zu erweitern um die Stempel anzuzeigen, indem Sie den Abwärtspfeil <img src='ic_expand_more_black.png'/> in der rechten unteren Ecke drücken. Dort ist es möglich die Startzeit, Zielzeit und alle Stempel des Läufers zu ändern. Das Plus-Symbol <img src='ic_action_add_black.png'/> und Papierkorbsymbol <img src='ic_action_trash_black.png'/> rechts in jeder Linie, fügt den Stempel an dieser Stelle hinzu und entfernt ihn.

<p>Wenn eine passende Bahn für die ausgelesene SI-Card gefunden wird, wird der Läufer automatisch dieser Bahn zugeordnet und die Postennummern werden überprüft. Wenn dem Läufer die falsche Bahn zugewiesen wird, können Sie manuell die richtige Bahn zuordnen, entweder durch langes drücken auf den Läufer in der Liste und durch Auswahl von <b>Bahn des Läufers ändern</b> oder indem Sie auf den Läufer klicken und dann das linke Bahnsymbol <img src='ic_action_change_course.png'/> (das mit einem Aktualisierungssymbol unten rechts) auswählen.

<p>Kann für eine SI-Card keine passende Bahn gefunden werden, so wird der Läufer zu der Bahn 'Keine Bahn' zugeordnet. Dies bedeutet auch dass der Läufer direkt auf OK gesetzt wird, solange sich ein Zielzeit auf der SI-Card befindet. Für die diesem Kurs zugeordneten Läufer werden die Postennummern nicht geprüft.

<p>Es ist auch möglich eine neue Bahn zu definieren, die auf allen registrierten Posten auf einer SI-Card basiert. Dies ist sehr praktisch wenn jeweils der erste Läufer auf jeder Bahn ins Ziel kommt. Dies geschieht entweder durch langes Drücken auf einen Läufer in der Liste und Auswahl von <b>Bahn von der SI-Card erstellen</b> oder durch Klicken auf die Karte und anschließendes Auswählen des korrekten Bahnsymbol <img src='ic_action_add_course.png'/> (das mit einem Pluszeichen unten rechts).
Im Dialog können Sie die Bahn benennen und weitere Änderungen vornehmen, bevor Sie sie als neue Bahn speichern.

<p>Wenn in den Einstellungen ein Bluetooth Drucker konfiguriert ist, ist es möglich für einen Läufer die Zwischenzeiten zu drucken. In der Detailansicht des Läufers gibt es ein Belegsymbol <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/>, das die Zwischenzeiten auf dem Drucker ausgibt. Es ist auch möglich, verschiedene Stufen des automatischen Druckens in den Einstellungen zu konfigurieren. Lesen Sie mehr über Zwischenzeitdrucker in den Einstellungen und auf der

Durch drücken des Plus-Symbols <img src='ic_action_new.png'/> erscheint ein Dialog, in dem es möglich ist, den Namen und den Club des Läufers einzugeben. Es ist auch möglich die Start- und Sielzeiten für den Läufer einzugeben.

<p>SI-Droid Event unterstützt die mehrfache Verwendung und Auslesung derselben SI-Card während eines Wettkampfes. Solange die Daten auf der SI-Card in irgendeiner Weise verändert wurden, wird die SI-Card wie jede andere SI-Card ausgelesen. Liest ein Läufer jedoch versehentlich seine SI-Card zweimal hintereinander aus, so wird die zweite SI-Card nicht akzeptiert, da bereits identische Daten gelesen wurden. In diesem Fall wird ein kurzer Erklärungstext auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt.

Under the <b>Results</b> tab, all read out cards/runners are listed for each course in their result order. Here it is also possible to click
on a runner and get all the card details. It is also possible to click on the course row (in orange) to hide/show all the results for that course.

<p>By clicking the Share icon <img src='ic_action_share.png'/> it is possible to generate the following result reports: <ul>
<li>A straightforward result without any split times as a simple HTML page.</li>
<li>A complete split times report including all intermediate times and positions.</li>
<li>As an IOF v3.0 XML file (with split times). This file can then be imported to WinSplits or another kind of result system.</li>
<li>A split times report in the old OE2003/MT2003 CSV format. This file can e.g. be used for sharing split times on the site splitsbrowser.org.uk</li>
<li>A report with all cards in the event as a SportIdent CSV file</li>
<li>The whole event as a <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> backup for further post-processing.</li>
<li>A combined results report. When the same card has a result on more than one course, all those results are combined into a total result. This report comes
in three different variations as well. If a card has run the same course more than once, You can select if the best, the first or the last run from that course
should be the one counted towards the total result</li> </ul>

<p>All the different types of reports can be shared in the following ways: <ul>
<li>A simple preview in the web browser of the device.</li>
<li>Share the file through one of the other apps installed, e.g. Email, Dropbox or Google Drive</li>
<li>Export the file to a place of your choice.</li> </ul>

<p>If there is a Bluetooth receipt printer configured in the Settings, a receipt icon <img src='ic_action_receipt.png'/> will be shown. By clicking the icon
it is possible to print a simple result report for the whole event.

<li>Eine Zwischenzeitenrangliste im alten CSV-Format OE2003/MT2003. Diese Datei kann z. B. zum teilen von Zwischenzeiten auf der Seite splitsbrowser.org.uk verwendet werden.</li>
<li>Eine Rangliste mit allen SI-Cards für diesen Wettkampf als SportIdent CSV-Datei.</li>
<li>Den ganzen Wettkampf als <a href='http://www.melin.nu/meos/en'>MeOS</a> Sicherung für die weitere Nachbearbeitung.</li>
<li>Eine kombinierte Rangliste. Wenn die gleiche SI-Card Resultate auf mehr als einer Bahn hat, werden alle diese Resultate zu einem zusammengefasst. Auch diese Rangliste gibt es in drei verschiedenen Varianten. Wenn eine SI-Card die gleiche Bahn mehr als einmal absolviert hat, können Sie wählen ob der beste, der erste oder der letzte Lauf dieser Bahn derjenige sein soll, der zum Gesamtresultat gezählt wird.</li> </ul>

<p>Alle verschiedenen Arten von Berichten können auf folgende Weise geteilt werden: <ul>
